WIP: Something Wearable

The thing with making wearables is that you must have an awful lot of patience because it takes longer to make. Patience isn’t one of my virtues, I get bored with projects that take more than 2 seatings to finish. But here I am, challenging myself. With a Japanese pattern, no less!

Just how long it will take me to finish, I have no idea since I rarely crochet nowadays (this project was a spur of the moment decision in my battle against doing stuff that I actually NEED to do #escapist). I just pray to the crochet gods that I won’t run out of yarn because I only have a couple balls of this baby from Baguio.

Wish me luck!

Self-imposed shopping ban: FAIL

Every time I put myself on a yarn shopping ban, I always end up buying more within the week. ALWAYS. It never fails.

But see, even my daughter can’t help the yummy goodness!

These yarns were from Baguio City a couple of months back. Right now my room is a mess, but I’m afraid that if I go near my stash and organize it, the cycle will start again. Fo’ shizzle.
